Welcome to Sunny Skies Retrievers. We breed, train and campaign in AKC and HRC hunt tests.

Our kennel is located in the gem state in lovely  Lenore, Idaho.  Sunny Skies is a small kennel that is veteran owned and operated by Sunny Freeman.  Sunny Skies goal is to promote a great partnership with you and your hunting buddy/ family member.  To do this we build the confidence of the animal by teaching the skills to be successful and continue reinforcing through out the learning process.  Once your dog has been trained we like to train the owner as well, so that they know how to handle their team to the best of their ability. For me it’s all about the dogs and bringing out the best in them so they perform the tasks asked of them. Whether that is to be successful in hunt tests or being steady and quiet while the ducks come in to your favorite hunting blind.  Lets get it done!
